We offer a variety of collections for both leisure reading and instruction, access to databases, one-on-one help using computers and e-readers by appointment, as well as general computer assistance anytime the library is open.
We also offer coffee and access to free, fast, and reliable wi-fi.
The Children's Department is a warm and welcoming area for children, their caregivers, teachers, day care providers, and anyone who is interested in children's literature. We have an extensive collections of materials for children from birth to age 12 and their caregivers. Our space features a number of puzzles, blocks, and other manipulative and imaginative toys. Our aim is to offer such a comfortable and fun environment that no one wants to leave!
Our library's teen area features comfortable seating, PCs, and a wide collection of popular books and graphic novels. It's a popular place to hang out with friends, work on homework, and catch up on reading. We also offer a variety of activities for teens including craft programs, book discussion groups, and volunteer opportunities.
Whether you are looking to repair your car, open your own business, or writing a report for school, we offer a database for you. If you need assistance learning how to use one of our databases, please contact us. We'll be happy to show you the ropes. Some databases are provided in partnership with the Monroe County Library System, New York Online Virtual Electronic Library, and the Rochester Regional Library Council.
