PRESCHOOL STORY PROGRAM

MONDAYS:

STORY PROGRAMS
March 5 – May 21 (No story time on April 16.)
2 – 5 year olds
10:30 – 11:10 a.m.

This program is designed to be an early group experience for the child.  A parent or caregiver must attend with the child.  NO REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.

BOOK BUNCH
March 5, April 2, May 7
Grades 1 – 3
4:30 – 5:30 p.m.

Come and join our book discussion group for the younger set!  We will talk about different books each month, do a craft or activity, eat a treat and have fun!  REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.

TUESDAYS:

BOOK CLUB
March 20, April 17, May 15, June 5
Grades 4 – 6
5:30 – 7:00 p.m.

Get together with other kids who enjoy books, food and fun by joining the book discussion club.  Once a month we will meet to talk about books we’ve read, have a snack and either play a game or make a craft.  REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.

WEDNESDAYS:

STORY PROGRAMS
January 17 and February 21
Babies and Toddlers up to 2 years old
10:00 – 10:30 a.m.

Enjoy songs, movement activities, fingerplays and books with your little one.  Parent or caregiver must attend with child.  NO REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.

TIME FOR TOTS
March 7, April 4, May 2
Ages 1 – 5
10:15 – 11:15 a.m.

This program has 40 minutes worth of free play with toys and 20 minutes of story time each session.  Parent or caregiver must attend with child.  NO REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.

THURSDAYS

KINDERGARTEN – 3rd GRADE
March 15,  April 12, May 10
7:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Stories, crafts, game and a treat are part of this program.  REGISTER SEPARATELY FOR EACH SESSION.

Family Programs

 Join us once a month for a fun-filled family program on Fridays!  Each program will feature a combination of the following – stories, songs, games, crafts and activities.  REGISTER SEPARATELY FOR EACH SESSION.

Irish for a Day
Friday, March 23
Who says you can only be Irish on St. Patrick’s Day?  At this program we will celebrate Ireland with stories, songs, a craft and a snack.  Register beginning March 2 for Gates residents; March 16 for non-Gates residents.

Foolish Friday
Friday,  April 20
Hear stories about noodleheads and numbskulls, sing silly songs, eat a snack and play crazy games.  Register beginning March 30 for Gates residents; April 13 for non-Gates residents.

Cinco de Mayo
Friday, May 4
Have a fiesta with Mexican stories, songs, crafts and snacks.  Register beginning April 13 for Gates residents; April 27 for non-Gates residents.
