Help with Phonics

Many parents wish to assist their child in learning to read using phonics. There are many sources in the library but they can be difficult to locate because they are scattered throughout different sections. This is a bibliography of resources here at the Gates Public Library. Some are for directly using with the child and some are for the parent to read to understand what and how to teach phonics. Some of the materials are in the children’s area and some in the adult section. There are books, videos, books on cassette, and cassettes that can be used to teach phonics.

The items are listed with the call number and location in the library. If you have trouble finding anything, please feel free to ask a librarian for help. If no call number is listed, book is under author’s name.
