Kids' Catalog

The Kids Catalog Type Search allows the user to search the CARL catalog by author, title or subject. The user is provided with a box in which to type the word(s) to search, and then only has to click on the appropriate search type (author, title or subject) to execute the search. Spelling and punctuation are important when using this searching method.

Find It! Search

The Find It! search in the Kids Catalog allows the user to search subjects, authors and series through a screen full of alphabet blocks. The user clicks on Find It! from the main Kids Catalog screen, then chooses the Subjects, Authors or Series block, then chooses the first letter of the desired subject, author, or series. A list of all the matches for that letter will then appear from which the user may select titles.
