Visual Aids at the Gates Public Library

Did you know… Gates Public Library has VISUAL AIDS  FOR LOAN, thanks to a gift from the Gates Lion Club?

The Library has:

üPRISM GLASSES (BEDSPECS) for reading while flat in bed (useful for people with neck braces)

üTABLE TOP ENLARGERS with lamp

üMAGNIFIERS for cataracts and other sight problems.One is available at the reference desk for in-house use only.

üBEADED CLOCK for touch learning

If you have a need for visual aids or know of others who do, let them know about the library’s special services.

Visit us or call us at 247-6446 during library hours.To arrange for a loan, ask for the clerk or librarian on duty.

• Visual aids can only be borrowed and returned at Gates Public Library
• Limit of1 item per card
• $2.00 daily fine with a maximum of $24.00
• Cannot be returned in the overnight returns
