Visual Aids at the Gates Public Library

Did you know… Gates Public Library has VISUAL AIDS  FOR LOAN, thanks to a gift from the Gates Lion Club?

The Library has:

ü     PRISM GLASSES (BEDSPECS) for reading while flat in bed (useful for people with neck braces)

ü     TABLE TOP ENLARGERS with lamp

ü     MAGNIFIERS for cataracts and other sight problems.  One is available at the reference desk for in-house use only.

ü     BEADED CLOCK for touch learning

If you have a need for visual aids or know of others who do, let them know about the library’s special services.

Visit us or call  us at 247-6446 during library hours.  To arrange for a loan, ask for the clerk or librarian on duty.

  • Visual aids can only be borrowed and returned at Gates Public Library

  • Limit of  1 item per card

  • $2.00 daily fine with a maximum of $24.00

  • Cannot be returned in the overnight returns
