Circulating CD-ROMs at the Gates Public LibraryCIRCULATING CD-ROMsCD-ROMs are an easy way for all ages to learn computer skills, as well as to explore a wide variety of subjects. The CD-ROMs are divided into two collections. The children’s collection is marked with a “j” before the call number and is labeled with a pink teddy bear sticker in the upper left corner. These titles are directed toward children ages preschool through sixth grade. The CD-ROMs are hanging on the 3-tiered rack located behind the Kid’s Catalog terminals in the children’s section. The adult/young adult collection is located in the cubbyholes beneath the CD collection. CIRCULATION POLICYLoan Period: 2 weeks (non-renewable) Limit:2 per card Due to the small collection of titles, any simultaneous holds that arrive on the same card will be canceled and you will be notified of this when you come to pick up a CD-ROM. Replacement parts, such as the cd jewel case and the nylon bag, may be billed separately when they alone are damaged or missing. The Media Librarian establishes replacement prices for other damaged or missing CD-ROM parts.
