Bulletin Board & Display Policy

Control of Bulletin Board and Display Areas

The bulletin boards and all potential display areas in the library portion of the Gates Community Center are under the sole control of the Library Board of Trustees, with the Library Director administering the policy as established by the Library Board. All questions arising from this policy are to be brought to the attention of the Library Board, if not resolvable by the Director.

Public Use of the Bulletin Board & Display Areas

The bulletin boards and dispaly areas were designed and intended to directly aid and supplement the primary activities of the library, and as such all library activities will have first call for the use of these areas.

One bulletin board in the lobby next to the entrance corridor is designated as the bulletin board continuously available to the public as space and reasonable time display permit.

All other boards and display areas are reserved for library use. Library use can include occasional displays from Gates educational institutions or groups.
