Here are some points to remember when getting started using the mouse:
Rest the heel of your hand on the table, and grasp the mouse between your thumb and ring finger.
Rest your index finger lightly on the left mouse button, and your middle finger lightly on the right mouse button. We will not be using the right mouse button today.
The term "click" means to press the left mouse button quickly.
You move the mouse arrow around the screen by sliding the mouse on the mouse pad.
When the mouse is ready to click, the arrow will turn into a little hand with the index finger up.
Position the tip of the "finger" right on the spot where you want to click.
Be sure to hold the mouse still as you press the left mouse button!
