Issues variances to those who have reasonable hardships in complying with the zoning laws of the Town of Gates. Variances are issued or denied based
upon the findings from a public hearing.

Requirements: Anyone seeking relief from Town zoning ordinance.

Fees: Filing fee.

Procedure for referral: File application with Gates. Building Department. Building
Department will place notice in local newspaper stating applicants request and the
time and place of public hearing.
