Continuing activities and services available for Gates residents:

Emergency medical care and transport.
Paramedic Service.
BP clinic, Tuesdays 11-1.
Base tours and community group presentations.
Responding to emergencies (first aid) and CPR classes (nominal fee).
Standby first aid at public events.
Loan closet: crutches, wheelchairs, walkers (town residents only).
Volunteer opportunities for medics, drivers and base receptionists.
Auxiliary opportunities for office work, gardening, BP clinic, etc.

Area served: Gates.

Requirements: Training and hours requirements for active members, minimal on-scene training for auxiliary members. All members must have at least 16 hours.

Fees: Minimal fees for classes only.

Procedure for referral: Call 247-5519, or stop at the base 1600 Buffalo Road.
