Donate to the Friends' Endowment Fund!

Since 1992, the Friends of Gates Public Library have raised more than $25,000 for an Endowment Fund with the eventual goal of $50,000 to benefit the library in the future. The principal for this Endowment Fund comes from these sources:

¨       Half the profits from the library’s public copier managed by the Friends [the other half is given directly to the library annually for equipment not covered in the library’s operating budget.]

¨       Tops register tapes [basket in the children’s area by the library entrance for your Tops tapes!]

¨       Wendy’s coupons, distributed twice a year in the library and area businesses

¨       And by your donations to the Endowment Fund! Some of our members add their gift to the Endowment Fund with their annual membership renewal. You can do the same by joining the Friends or by donating through Network for Good, by clicking the logo at left.
